Features & Benefits

UltraGrip WB 7000 is a versatile, and fast-drying water-based epoxy primer. It offers the strong adhesion and hide of a solvent-based primer, in an easy-to-use water-based system:

  • Low/no odor
  • Very low VOC (<25 g/l)
  • Simple 1:1:5-15% mix ratio, reduce with water (if spraying)
  • Easy clean-up
  • Roll or spray application
  • ~20-30 minutes dry time to next coat (varies based on conditions and thickness applied)

 

  • Shake resin and catalyst well before mixing.
  • Mix to a smooth consistency. No induction time necessary.
  • The mixture should always be strained into the spray cup.
  • Before applying primer, wipe the area with a tack cloth to create a clean, dust-free surface.
  • Apply 4 light coats, which is approximately 5 to 6 mils wet. Use an air hose to accelerate the
    drying time. .
  • After primer is dry to the touch, wipe with a tack cloth to smooth roughness or overspray.
  • Mix ratio:
    1 part UltraGrip WB Lo 7400 resin
    1 part UltraGrip WB Lo 7400 catalyst
