This unique tool allows you to apply and remove surplus soft wax as well as removing excess hard wax using the planer grooves without damaging the surrounding area. The tool includes a cleaning comb to remove filler from grooves which in turn houses the coarse sanding pad and fine polishing cloth.

Konig Special Applicator
A very useful tool used to apply softwax and remove excess hardwax easily, the serrated edges are used to work excess hard wax back to the level of the substrate being repaired.
Housed within the applicator are 2 abrasive pads for further sanding and the insert has a toothed comb at one end to remove excess wax from the serrated edges.

Konig Softwax is ideal for filling pin holes and damaged edges. Can be used on natural timber or artificial surfaces.

Konig Softwax

  • Remove all loose and splintered particles and indent damage edges. Use König Touch-Up products to colourdamaged edges that are lighter than the base colour.
  • Use the tip of the Special Applicator to take little quantities of the wax stick and fill into the damage area.
  • Surplus filler to be planed off with the Special Applicator (use sharp grooves on a flat surface, round grooves at edges).
  • Intermediate sealing with Special Repair Lacquer.
  • Restore grain with König Touch-Up material. The grain pattern can be restored by slightly scratching (e.g. with an upholstery needle).
  • Finally, apply Special Repair Lacquer to seal and to protect the damage area from dust, dirt and to adjust the gloss sheen, if necessary.
