Mirka Glass Polishing Solution Kit is suitable for many different glass surfaces such as building facades, interior doors and stairs as well as yacht, train or other vehicle windows. The process is not recommended to be used on car front windshields because of the risk of optical refraction
- Remove defects in the glass.
- Check and clean at each grit stage to be sure previous grits scratches have been removed.
- Further reduce scratches and repair edge. Expand the repair area with finer Abralon discs.
Use: Abralon - During the Abralon stages, the machine must remain flat to help the edge blending process.
- Check edge definition of repair, making sure edges are beginning to blend. Dampen to reduce clouding.
- Polish the repair, making around three passes with the compound. Keep to small areas at a time.
- Keep the felt Polishing pad clean to avoid polish build up resulting in a poor finish.
- Clean and inspect. Re-polish if needed for final result.
