Konig Hardwax is a durable wax filler, designed for repairs to areas subject to severe use. Ideal for repairing edge damage as well as filling holes and scratches of more significant damage. Applied using our range of battery, gas or electric heating irons.

Konig Hardwax

• Use the hot tip of the Gas Heat Iron to melt off small quantities of Hard Wax and fill into the damage area.
• Important: Do not set the temperature of the heater too high. Surplus filler to be planed off before wax cools down completely, using the Special Applicator (sharp grooves on a flatsurface, round grooves at edges).
• Surplus wax to be wiped off rapidly with the Scotch Brite using light pressure.
• Restore grain with König Touch-Up material. The grain pattern can be restored by slightly scratching (e.g. with an upholstery needle).
• Finally, apply Special Repair Lacquer to seal and to protect the damage area from dust, dirt and to adjust the gloss sheen, if necessary.
