Mohawk’s Hard Fill and Hard Fill Plus are made from a blend of hard waxes and are used to repair minor and medium defects in
wood and rigid plastic. Recommended for repairs on floors, tops, fronts, sides, doors, drawers, any wood surface. Hard Fills are available in an array of colours.
Mohawk Hard Fill Plus is designed to be used when you need a higher melting point or more durability. Requires a Heat Iron and levelling tool to carefully remove excess wax without harming the surrounding wood surface.

• Clean the area with Degreaser and a clean cloth.
• Evaluate surface for loose material, debris or a raised area.
• Clean or level if needed with a utility knife or sandpaper being careful not to over sand area and remove more colour and finish than necessary.
• Scuff sanding the repair area is recommended to improve adhesion.
• Select a Hard Fill (M310/311-Color) stick that is closest to the background colour of the wood.
• Select a matching marker to pre-colour the damaged area.
• Apply colour to the damage to avoid a white ring at the edge of the fill.
• Melt the Hard Fill (M310/311-Color) stick onto the blade of a burn-in knife and allow the stick to flow into the damage, overfilling the repair area slightly.
• For deep damages, run the tip of your burn in knife into the damage to ensure the bottom of the damage is filled.
