The Window and Door Repair Kit by König is a professional grade product that is being used by professionals all around the world.

Why replace a damaged piece when you can repair it and make it look as good as new? König’s scratch repair kit is a cost effective solution that is easy to use and includes a variety of Hardwax colours.

The kit comes with everything you need including detailed instructions, an innovative heating iron/application tool and 3 AA batteries included.

Ideal for repairing UPVC windows and doors, making them look almost factory new.
A variety of hardwax colours allows windows and doors of varying colours to be repaired.

Konig Hardwax

  • Use the Battery Electric Heater to melt off small quantities of Hard Wax and fill into the damage area.
  • Important: Do not set the temperature of the heater too high. Surplus filler to be planed off before wax cools down completely, using the Special Applicator (sharp grooves on a flatsurface, round grooves at edges).
  • Surplus wax to be wiped off rapidly with the Scotch Brite using light pressure.
  • Restore grain with König Touch-Up material. The grain pattern can be restored by slightly scratching (e.g. with an upholstery needle).
  • Finally, apply Special Repair Lacquer to seal and to protect the damage area from dust, dirt and to adjust the gloss sheen, if necessary.
